As a leading manufacturer of braking system components, DAfmi is constantly expanding its product range. But if, until now, employees of the enterprise annually mastered 12-18 new positions of brake pads, then this summer the company’s assets increased by 84 new names (47 disc and 37 drum brake pads). What is the reason for such a sharp expansion of the range? Everything is very simple: as a result of the output of the enterprise’s products to the EU market, it became clear that the product portfolio of the plant lacks friction products for automobiles that are not yet widely distributed in standard markets. Now the product range of DAFMI LLC has been replenished with 84 positions of disc and drum brake pads for the most popular foreign-made cars from Asia and Europe.
But that’s not all. The 800/3 program has been developed and is gradually being introduced at the enterprise. She suggests that by the end of 2021, the company’s product range will expand to at least 800 brake pad positions. This entails additional investments in the purchase of new equipment, molds, raw materials, components, etc. – in a word, all that is necessary to implement such a large-scale project.
So, stage number 1 – the development of 84 new positions in the framework of the implementation of the “800/3” program – has been worked out. Stage 2 is next in line: in the second half of the year, the company will again offer the consumer new items.
